Three Decades of Strategy, Distilled into One Mission.

I spent 35 years navigating the intersection of business growth and high-stakes media production. I’ve seen industries shift and technologies fade, but one thing remains constant: authentic expertise is your most valuable asset.

The Brand Alchemist exists because of a pattern I kept seeing — and couldn't stop seeing. 

Brilliant people. Real expertise. Years of results that genuinely changed lives. And yet something between who they were and how they showed up in the world was getting lost in translation. They were producing content, posting, showing up. But they weren't landing. And the reason had nothing to do with their strategy.

It had everything to do with confidence. Not the performed kind — the kind that arrives when you stop leading from an inherited portfolio of limiting beliefs and start showing up as who you actually are.

That's when I understood what my real role was.

Not just to produce content or make videos or set up beautiful colour palettes — though I do all of those things, and I do them well. My role is to help business owners alchemise their expertise. To know it, feel it, live it, breathe it, and share it from a place of complete conviction.

Because a brand that doesn't come from that place is just decoration.

I bring 35 years of brand strategy, performing arts, and communications to this work. Every bit of it exists for one outcome: to make sure your voice isn't just heard.

What it is

A series of unscripted, direct‑to‑camera videos where I share leadership thoughts, lived experience and encouragement.

No teleprompter, no over‑producing—just clarity, presence and a strong point of view.

Why it matters for clients

  • Shows how simple, honest, expert content can position you as the calm, trusted voice in a noisy feed.
  • Models what it looks like to show up as “you, but more intentional” on camera.

Bossy Berta – Character-Led Creativity with a Point

What it is

A heightened character drawn from my theatre and film‑maker background: a “bossy” creative who can say the things your polite founder voice might never dare.

She’s a kind of parody of the overwhelmed content creator who “can’t seem to create content”—while, of course, doing exactly that.

Why it matters for clients

  • Shows how a well‑designed character can carry bolder messages, tougher truths and controlled controversy—without damaging your main brand tone.
  • Demonstrates my ability to build a character world: costume, voice, scenarios and running jokes that make a brand instantly recognisable.
  • Opens up a way to talk about hard topics in a way that’s entertaining and memorable, not preachy.

For some brands, a character like this becomes the engine of attention and recall.

Weald Parish Council

Karen has 30+ years in recruitment but was reluctant to be on camera. We built her confidence, planned her stories, and spent a day filming in the home studio. Now she has a set of videos covering her one-day training event, her core method (people, process, profit), and short VSLs plus four strong testimonials.

A-Star are a growing tuition brand. We created branded video assets for their origin story and sales clips, scripted and professionally directed with brand graphics. We also worked to a clear budget and trained them so they can manage their own filming and editing going forward.

Weald Parish Council commissioned a short film about the new village beacon for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The video captures the work and thought behind the beacon as a permanent record. It’s become a widely viewed piece on their village Facebook group and a living archive for the community.
